Primarily, I met Susie at her Ortega home through Matthew Bischoff, her grandson, when we were dating in 1997.  Later, I loved going to visit Susie in the nursing home with her daughter Cindy and her granddaughter Holly.  Quick-witted, intelligent, and talented, Susie was an honor to me, as she told stories of her family life to us. Her family and I will always share her memories and keep her spirit alive, as she continues to live with us and guide us in life with her spiritual presence.
